Xander is swimming to fundraise money for Sick Kids in Ronald McDonald House
Hi, I’m Xander, I’m 10 years old, and this November I’m taking on a big challenge, swimming 25 kilometres to help sick kids and their families.
I love swimming, so I wanted to use something I love, to do something really special for other kids.
I’m taking part in Swim for Sick Kids to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Sydney, which helps seriously ill and injured children have their families close while they receive the care they need.
For families staying at Ronald McDonald House Sydney, being together can make such a difference during some of the hardest times of their lives. On average, it costs $190 to support a sick child and their family for one night, and families are able to stay free of charge so they can focus on what matters most, their child.
My goal is to swim 25km throughout November, and every kilometre I complete will be for the sick kids and families I’m raising money for.
I would love your support! Whether you donate, share my page, or cheer me on as I work towards my 25km goal, it all helps.
Thank you for supporting me and helping families stay together when they need each other most.
Xander
